Exterior
You get two trim level choices with the 2016 Kia Forte Koup. There is the EX version, which starts at $19,890, or you could upgrade to the SX model that has only a slightly higher starting price of $20,690. These different trim levels offer many of the same features, including heated power mirrors and auto light control, while the higher-level SX gives you the addition of standard perimeter approach lighting, LED front fog lights, and dual chrome exhaust tips on the exterior. You could also choose to add numerous optional exterior features to either trim level for an enhanced look and experience.
Power
The EX version of this new Kia offers 173 hp with a 2.0 L engine, while the SX version gives you 201 hp with its turbocharged 1.6 L engine. Both trim levels of the Forte Koup have a front-wheel drive system providing power in the front of the car. An electronically controlled 6-speed automatic overdrive transmission comes standard on the EX or optional on the SX, while the SX has a standard 6-speed manual transmission.
Performance
With the 2016 Kia Forte Koup EX trim level, you get up to 25 city mpg or 34 highway mpg. If you opt for the SX trim level instead, you can expect about 22 mpg in the city or 30 mpg on the highway. Also, you get 154 lb-ft of torque with the EX trim level or 195 lb-ft of torque with the SX version.
Interior
On the inside of this car, the 2016 Kia Forte Koup includes a 4.3" display with touchscreen, a backup camera display and other convenient technological features that include USB and Bluetooth compatibility. On top of these kinds of features that come standard on both trim levels, the upgraded SX level also includes a UVO infotainment system, a start button, and alloy pedals. Add optional interior features to either trim level for even more luxury; you could choose from sport leather seat trim, paddle shifters on the steering wheel, and more on the SX or from other add-ons with the EX, such as a start button.
