Kia gives you three trim levels with the 2016 Kia K900. Start with the Premium V-6 model at $49,950, or go for the Luxury V-6 model, which begins at $54,950. There is also the option of the Luxury V-8 model, which goes for $62,850 to start. The exterior of each model features stylish lines, an impressive grille in front and sleek chrome trim. The rear style has changed from last year's model, including updated exhaust pipes and bumper in addition to a trunk lid that operates hands-free. The V-6 models come with 18-inch wheels while the V-8 model features 19-inch ones.
Power
The new base K900 sedan is a 3.8-liter V-6 model that gives you 311 hp. This model creates 293 lb-ft of torque. If you choose the 5.0-liter V-8 choice instead, you go up to 420 hp along with 376 lb-ft of torque for powerful performance. All models of this sedan have front-engine, rear-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission that come standard.
Performance
The 2016 Kia K900 handles bumps well and controls noise for a relaxing, comfortable drive. This sedan gives you 17 mpg in city conditions and 26 mpg on the highway. In comparison, the V-8 model provides 15 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. The V-6 models go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds.
Interior
This Kia sedan provides a lot of interior features for a luxury experience that matches or even exceeds its competitors. The standard option comes with soft and stylish leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a navigation system to help you find your way. If you pay an extra $5,000 for a VIP package, you gain additional features that include a driver's seat that adjusts 16 ways and an alert for rear traffic.
Safety Features
Each 2016 K900 comes with standard safety features that include front, rear, and side airbags. It also includes cameras in the front and back, antilock brakes, and a traction and stability control feature. You can add additional safety features, such as the Autonomous Emergency Braking option that relies on the vehicle's front camera and its cruise control to keep your car a safe distance from the car in front of you, and to stop the car if needed.
